Tales of Developer’s Common Mistakes in Securing Application from a Security Tester’s Point of View

It is a commonly known best-practice nowadays for developers that they should integrate security aspects together in the Software Development Lifecycle. But in the implementation, this concept is often “accidentally overlooked” when a developer wants to develop an application. This condition itself is not strange considering the differences in the discipline of insight between developers and security testers.

In this free Public Lecture, Mr. YoKo Kho will try to convey some common unintentional mistakes made by developers that indirectly have a negative impact on a system.

With a little insight that will be presented in this session, it is hoped that it can help developers to identify some common types of mistake.
